GTM is a browser-first tag manager. SyncBeacon combines a lightweight browser tracker with server-side conversion delivery from your order system. That means purchases can reach ad platforms even when browser tags fail, with consent handling and deduplication built in.

Does SyncBeacon replace Google Tag Manager?

For e-commerce conversion tracking, yes. One SyncBeacon script can replace GTM and multiple platform pixels. GTM may still make sense for simple content sites that only need basic analytics tags.

Why is browser-only tracking not enough for EU stores?

Browser tags depend on scripts loading after consent, surviving ad blockers, and firing on thank-you pages. In the EU, iOS restrictions, high ad blocker usage, and cookie consent rejection create a compounding gap that makes browser-only measurement unreliable.

Is Enhanced Conversions enough on its own?

Enhanced Conversions improves identity matching, but it often still depends on browser-side collection. If the tag never loads because of an ad blocker or consent rejection, Enhanced Conversions cannot fully close the delivery gap. Server-side tracking addresses event delivery.
